Free Park-and-Ride Service Returns to Clearwater Beach for Spring Break 2025

The city of Clearwater, in partnership with the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA), is making your spring break trip to Clearwater Beach easier than ever. The popular Park-and-Ride service is returning, offering visitors a convenient and free way to enjoy the beach without the stress of finding parking.
Starting March 2 and running through May 3, 2025, beachgoers can park for free at designated downtown lots and hop on the trolley to Clearwater Beach. The service operates:
Monday through Thursday: Every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday to Sunday: Every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to midnight (Fridays and Saturdays) and until 10 p.m. on Sundays.
Free parking is available at the former Clearwater City Hall location (112 S. Osceola Ave.) and 200 Osceola Ave. Additional weekend parking is offered at 310 Court Street (County Garage). Trolleys can be boarded at these locations, as well as at the Clearwater Beach Transit Center and the Clearwater Beach Marina. Return service to the parking lots departs from the Clearwater Beach Marina (25 Causeway Blvd.).
Lisa Chandler, operator of Pier 60 concessions and founder of the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival, emphasized the importance of alternative transportation options. “Clearwater Beach continues to thrive as one of the top destinations in Florida. While there’s plenty of room on our sugar sand beaches, parking can be a challenge. Services like the Jolley Trolley are crucial to our barrier-island economy and vitality,” she said.
With over 50,000 vehicles passing through the Clearwater Beach roundabout on a typical spring break day, the Park-and-Ride service provides a cost-effective and eco-friendly solution for visitors. This marks the sixth year PSTA and the city have collaborated to enhance public transportation during the busy spring break season.
